Hi friends. How was your weekend?? Great I hope.
We had Drew's Mother's wake on Saturday.
Today, I made apple pear jam, pulled pork for supper, did laundry and laid around with the kids.
We had our pulled pork over rice. While I waited for the rice to cook, I played around with my camera and finally took some pics of the small bit of Fall decor that I have up.
The days are getting shorter.
The nights are getting cooler.
It's my favorite time of the year!
The entry got the hanging basket full of Fall leaves. I added some fun little feathers to the faux boxwood planter and a ceramic white pumpkin. Just a touch of Fall. I will say it probably million times. I adore blue and orange together. They were meant to go with one another.
The coffee table got a small striped pumpkin and a candle surrounded by acorns and a few leaves tucked in. I inherited the huge crystal bowl from my Mother. She told me once it was made by some famous designer but, there are no markings on it. When you lift if up (it weighs like 20 freaking pounds) and look through, the bottom is shaped like a flower. It's always been my favorite.
Little pops of orange here and there. This one is filled with coffee beans and smells divine.
Across the way, I placed a candle filled with corn kernels wrapped in raffia.
The kitchen arch just got a couple stems of leaves tucked into the box with my pears.
The trestle table behind the sofa got a burlap ribbon runner, some pops of orange and a little striped pumpkin. My favorite photo of my Mom & me.
The little faux mantle.
I love the feather boa... and so do the kids. Not my best idea ever.
I love how the mantle top turned out so cute.
I love the stalks of wheat in the burlap wrapped pitcher.
Snuck a pic of our sleepy little Nala Bean (who is very scared of cameras it turns out).
The coffee table in the TV room got a candle filled with different colored lentils. Lentils are FUN!!
I wont show you the dining room yet since I haven't reclaimed the table back from the sewing machine. Which, I used to whip together this amazing ottoman cover Saturday night.
No more brown pleather ottoman. Yippee!!
Here's to Fall y'all.
Bring it on.
XOXO

So sorry about Drew's mother. Y'all have had a very difficult year, bless your hearts. I hope the remainder is perfectly lovely. As is your home, so warm and welcoming, and perfect for fall!
