Sugar High ~

Hi again babies.

Anyone notice a trend?  My only posting on the weekends?

Hm.

Maybe as the days get longer I will have more time for projects after my day job.

Last night, Drew and I {Yep!  He helped!} had a few cocktails and made a knockoff of those delicious, delicious, pink, soft Lofthouse cookies.

We let them sit overnight, because they frost better after drying out just a little bit.

Made some butter cream this morning and added some fun little Springy Jimmies {some people call them sprinkles}.

They brightened up a dreary Sunday.

They were delicious.

I made a different butter cream this time.
This one is amazing.  Really tastes like cream cheese frosting without the cream cheese.
Super smooth and not too heavy.

Big ole mason jar of milk, because who doesn't drink everything from a mason jar!?!?

Even Max drinks from a mason jar:

Kitties should not drink milk. They are actually lactose intolerant.
Max only got a little taste.

Milk and cookies on a lazy Sunday.
What is better than that?

XOXO

Yum, those really look good. I am going to have to have a coctail and try making some of those. :) The cookies are always such a temptation to buy when I am at the grocery.
Your kitten is so cute. Thanks so much for sharing. :)

Your kitten is so sweet, adorable. Our kitty will only drink very little milk out of our cereal bowls. Unlike our piggy dog, he's drooling for it before we get done with breakfast but we only leave him a tiny bit on bottom of bowl. He's gotten a bit pudgy over winter.
Those cookies look so darn good, yummy to the tummy. Glad to get recipe for cookies and frosting. So tired of having to pay $1.50 for container of frosting at grocery. No more.
Will be sure to buy cake flour before we attempt to make cookies. Happy Week

Love your styling lately, Meg. The pictures are gorgeous no matter what the subject. And the cookies look delicious!!

I know what you mean about having more light at the end of the day for things - it makes my heart swell when I sit down to dinner and it's still light!! A few more weeks and we'll be changing the clocks!
